Till exempel kan en 30 mm form resultera i ett färdigt föremål på cirka 27–28 mm. Vi rekommenderar att välja en form som är 2–3 mm större än önskad färdig storlek.

Den slutgiltiga krympningsgraden är inte fast. Den kan variera beroende på vatteninnehåll, pulverstruktur, knådning, torkmiljö och designens tjocklek eller struktur. Större hänge-liknande föremål kan också krympa något annorlunda än små runda pärlor under torkning.
