3D Lotus Bead Mold
Because handmade scented beads lose moisture during the natural air-drying process, the finished size is usually 2–3mm smaller than the mold. For example, a 10mm mold may result in a finished bead diameter of about 7–8mm. We recommend choosing a mold that is 2–3mm larger than your desired finished bead size.
The final shrinkage rate is not fixed. It may vary depending on water content, powder texture, kneading, drying environment, and bead design. Adding more water, using a more absorbent botanical scent powder, or drying the beads too quickly may lead to more noticeable shrinkage. Thorough kneading can help release trapped air inside the paste and support a more stable finished shape. Patterned beads and smooth beads may also shrink slightly differently during drying.

The lotus details are even prettier in person than I expected. The petals are clearly defined, and the finished bead looks delicate from every angle. It gives the bracelet a much more special, handmade look, and it has quickly become my favorite mold in the set.
Initially, someone else noticed the finished result, which surprised me a little. It is useful for making one or two pieces without setting up too much. I would still leave it at five stars.
This is one of those tools that made me want to make another batch right away. The result looks like I spent more time than I actually did.
The mold details are sharper than I expected. I dusted it lightly first and had no trouble getting the piece out.
