1. Is this kit suitable for beginners, and which option should I choose?
Yes. If this is your first time making botanical scented jewelry, choose the Botanical Scent Jewelry Making Kit with any scent powder you like.
You will receive one 1oz bottle of pre-blended botanical scent powder containing Nanmu powder, together with the essential tools, a 12mm round bead mold, a 14mm lotus bead mold, and access to our step-by-step video guide. Simply add water and follow the tutorial.
Choose Tool Kit Only (No Powder) if you already have suitable powder or want to create your own blend from raw botanical ingredients.
2. Do I need to purchase Nanmu Powder separately?
No. If you choose any Rinleaf scent powder option with the kit, Nanmu powder is already included in the formula. You only need to add water.
Purchase Nanmu Powder separately only if you choose Tool Kit Only (No Powder), already have your own botanical powder, or want to create a custom blend from raw botanical ingredients.
3. How many bracelets can I make with 1oz of scent powder?
One 1oz bottle is generally enough to make one standard bracelet.
The exact yield depends on the size and number of beads, the selected mold, the amount used during testing, and normal material loss during mixing, shaping, and polishing.
4. How do I access the video tutorials?
A tutorial card is included inside your package. Scan the QR code on the card using your phone’s camera to open the Botanical Scent Crafting Video Guide.
The guide includes separate tutorials for customers using Rinleaf pre-blended scent powder, customers creating their own blend with Nanmu Powder, and customers who prefer a stronger three-strand bracelet stringing method.
5. Can I use my own flowers, herbs, or other botanical materials?
Yes. Your botanical materials must be completely dried, finely ground, and carefully sifted before use. Fresh or damp flowers should not be added directly because moisture may interfere with drying and bead formation.
For a fully custom blend, choose Tool Kit Only (No Powder) and purchase Nanmu Powder separately as the natural plant-based binder. Raw flowers, herbs, and other botanical ingredients are not included and must be prepared by the customer.
Because natural materials behave differently, we recommend testing a small amount before making a complete batch.
6. Can I mix different Rinleaf scent powders together?
Yes. You may combine Rinleaf scent powders to create a personalized aroma and color.
We recommend making a small test batch first and recording the proportions you use. Mixing different formulas may change the final scent, color, texture, and drying time.
Because Rinleaf scent powders are already pre-blended with Nanmu powder, you generally do not need to add extra Nanmu Powder when mixing only Rinleaf scent powders.
7. How long do the beads need to dry?
Drying time depends on the bead size, room temperature, humidity, and airflow.
Beads smaller than 10mm generally require approximately 3–5 days. Beads larger than 10mm, including the 12mm round beads and 14mm lotus beads made with our kit, generally require approximately 5–7 days and may need longer in humid conditions.
Allow the beads to dry naturally in a cool, ventilated place away from direct sunlight and strong heat. They must be completely dry before polishing, stringing, or wearing.
8. What if I prefer a stronger bracelet cord?
Our Botanical Scent Crafting Video Guide includes a Three-Strand Bracelet Stringing Tutorial for customers who prefer a stronger and more secure finish.
The tutorial shows how to arrange, string, size, and knot the bracelet using three strands of elastic cord.
9. How long will the scent of my finished incense beads last?
With proper care, the natural botanical scent may last for years. The exact scent longevity depends on the powder formula, bead size, storage conditions, frequency of wear, and exposure to water, sweat, perfume, or humidity.
If the bracelet is left unworn for an extended period, the scent may temporarily become softer. Store it in a sealed pouch for a while or gently warm the beads in your palm or against your wrist to help release the botanical aroma again.
10. Are the finished incense beads fragile or easy to break?
Nanmu powder acts as a natural plant-based binder and helps the beads develop a firm, durable texture once they are completely dry.
However, the beads are handcrafted from natural botanical materials rather than stone, plastic, or resin. Avoid dropping, crushing, soaking, stretching, or striking them against hard surfaces.
Always allow the beads to dry completely before polishing, stringing, or wearing them.
11. Are the finished incense beads waterproof?
No. The finished beads are not waterproof and do not have a synthetic waterproof coating.
The natural beeswax applied during polishing provides light protection against occasional everyday moisture, but it does not make the beads waterproof.
Avoid water, prolonged sweat, perfume, lotion, chemicals, and humid storage. Remove the bracelet before showering, swimming, washing, or intense exercise. If the beads are accidentally splashed, gently dry them and allow them to air-dry completely.
12. Where can I find the ingredients, and what if I have allergies?

Natural ingredients are not necessarily allergy-free. If you have known allergies, sensitive skin, fragrance sensitivities, or respiratory concerns, consult an appropriate healthcare professional before use.

Wearable incense beads are decorative jewelry only. They are not edible and must be kept out of the reach of children and pets.
13. Do you ship internationally, and how can I track my order?
We ship to the countries and regions currently available at checkout.
Most orders are processed within 3–5 business days. Most international orders are estimated to arrive within 7–15 business days after dispatch, although customs and local carrier delays may extend the delivery time.
Tracking information will be sent to the email address used at checkout. Please allow 3–5 business days for the tracking information to begin updating. International shipments may receive an additional local tracking number after arriving in the destination country.
14. What should I do if I entered the wrong shipping address?
Contact support@rinleaf.com immediately if you notice an address error. We will try to help, but we cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after the order has entered processing or has been dispatched.
