The Mixing Phase (Root Cause)

Water Control: Add water slowly, little by little. The dough should be soft (like an earlobe) but not sticky.

Knead & Rest: Knead until the surface is smooth with no air bubbles. Wrap the dough in plastic and let it "rest" for 30 minutes to increase elasticity.

The Shaping Phase (Technique)

Smooth the Lines: If you see fine micro-cracks on the dough, dab a little water to smooth them out before rolling.

Size Matters: Avoid making beads too large or too wet. The wetter the bead, the more it shrinks (and cracks) when drying.

The Drying Phase (Crucial!)

The "3 NOs": NO Direct Sun, NO Hair Dryer, NO Fan.

Environment: Place in a cool, shaded, and windless spot.

Slow Down: If the weather is dry, cover the beads loosely with a damp tissue or plastic wrap (leave a small gap) to slow down the drying process.

Patience: Wait at least 5–7 days. Do not touch or polish them until they are completely dry to the core.

Aftercare (Maintenance)

Dry Hands Only: Never handle raw beads with wet or sweaty hands.

Storage: When not wearing, store them in a sealed bag (Ziploc) or box to protect them from wind and sudden humidity changes.
